What I need to know for Musical Theater (MT) Auditions:

• For the Fall 2023 semester the MT actors will be split into age groups. However, Julie may move an actor to a different group to fill a role.
• MT practices will be on Fridays during workshops. Currently, Middle School 1sthour, Elementary 2nd hour, and High School 3rd hour. There may be additional practices if needed. (See, Members> Workshop Enrollment for details)
• It is $100/student per semester to participate in MT. This amount is paid directly to Julie Brunais
• You will know what hour your student will be in for MT practices prior to Workshop Enrollment. However, they may not know what role or what play(s) they are planning on doing.
• Julie hopes to have performance dates available prior to auditions.
• We do not have information on Tech week. This is the week prior to the performance in which the actors practice every day.
• If your student is interested in auditioning for a main/speaking part, they need to come prepared with a song to sing. This can be as simple as singing Happy Birthday.
• If your student wants to participate in MT but isn’t ready to audition for a main/speaking part, they still need to attend auditions.
• Please wear clothes and shoes you can dance in.
• Bring a water bottle, nut-free/peanut free snacks or lunch.
