Field trips at The Linden House are so worth the drive. Highly Recommend!
The educational activities are geared towards 10 yr. olds. However, kids older and younger have really enjoyed participating. We are offing a several opportunities to attend field trips at The Linden House. Groups must be between 10-15 people. All adults in attendance and all students that participate must pay when registering to hold your spot(s). (If you have a 2yrs that needs to tag-a-long, but won't be participating then you don't have to pay for them.) Tickets are non-refundable.

March 28: 12:45 meet, 1-3 programs
Program Cost: $6/person
French Etiquette Class: What is etiquette? Why was it so important to the French colonists? We will answer those questions as we serve hot tea and cookies and practice our manners.
Wax Seal and Dance: Come and learn how paper, ink, and letter writing was different in the 1700s. Make your own envelope and seal it with wax, and maybe you will receive an invitation to learn a French Colonial dance!
*We will participate in both programs followed with time to explore The Linden House.
Special Linden House activities may include play in the trading post, knot tying, grind corn, herbal sachet, milk a cow, gather eggs, play graces and lacrosse, wash laundry old-fashioned way, boat races.
