LE: Sewing Basics

Service Description

We will be learning basic skills for hand & machine sewing. The first class will be basic hand sewing so you do not need to bring a sewing machine the first week. I will communicate via email about additional weeks. Some supplies are provided, but others will need to be purchased by parents. I will email you with those details after registration is complete. If you do not have a sewing machine, I do have two free ones (with table storage) that will be available for you to take home. There is not space to keep them at the Rock church, so you would be responsible for bringing them each week. If more than two people need a machine, I will draw names. Please let me know by January 20th if you have need of one of these machines, otherwise I will donate them elsewhere. *Parent and child assume risk and responsibility since we are working with sharp needles, good quality sharp scissors, and sewing machines.
