Eckert's Millstadt Field Trip

We're going to Eckert's

Cost: $12.75 (cash/check $12)

Registration Closes: Oct 11th (cash/check payment due on the 11th at co-op)

Trip Includes:

• Wagon ride 

• One Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin to carry home 

• Freshly pressed apple cider 

• Access to our playground (Pig Races, Pumpkin Canon Show, Trikes, Animals for petting and More! Please note the corn maze is closed during school tour times for the safety of the children.

Lunch:

There are multiple places for lunch. We have picnic tables under the large pavilion near the stage, picnic tables throughout the farm and plenty of grass areas or straw bales to enjoy an outdoor lunch. Additionally, one of our food stands, The Iron Skillet,  will be open from 10:30am  - 4:00pm serving hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and succotash.

Reminders

• Minimum of 10 students to book 

• Anyone attending the field trip is required to pay the admission fee, same as a child. 

• Dress for the weather and teachers please bring permanent markers to write the kids names on pumpkin sticker.

When you arrive at Eckert’s Millstadt Farm, please follow the signs for bus parking (if bringing a bus) or park in the grassy area once you pull into the drive. Once parked, please have one teacher proceed to the red ticket booth to check your group in and pay while the students unload.  Your day is self-guided  and we do have multiple schools attending, so please do your best to arrive at your reserved time so we can try to stay on schedule as much as possible.

Wagon Ride/Pumpkin Picking: Once checked in, your group will hop on a wagon to ride out to the pumpkin patch where each student will pick the perfect pumpkin that they can carry back to their bus or car.

Pig Races: Pig races occur throughout the day at specific times - check with the ticket booth when you arrive. Pumpkin Cannon Show The pumpkin cannon show also occurs throughout the day at specific times - check with the ticket booth when you arrive. Animal Feed: There are multiple feed machines around the animal barns. If you want your students to feed the animals, please bring quarters – they feed machines cost $0.50 each.
