At The Linden House: (1) French Militia (2) Historic Bolduc House Tour

Field trips at The Linden House are so worth the drive.  Highly Recommend!

The educational activities are geared towards 10 yr. olds. However, kids older and younger have really enjoyed participating. We are offing a several opportunities to attend field trips at The Linden House. Groups must be between 10-15 people. All adults in attendance and all students that participate must pay when registering to hold your spot(s).(If you have a 2yrs that needs to tag-a-long but won't be participating then you don't have to pay for them.) Tickets are non-refundable.

Program Cost: $6/person

French Militia: The role of the militia was very important in the 1700s. Come and learn some basic drills and help protect old Ste. Genevieve!

Bolduc House Tour: The Bolduc House is a National Historic Landmark and a must see for students of French Colonial History. This tour is geared for kids to enjoy!

*Following the program, we will have time to explore The Linden House.

Special Linden House activities may include play in the trading post, knot tying, grind corn, herbal sachet, milk a cow, gather eggs, play graces and lacrosse, wash laundry old-fashioned way, boat races.
